Today's Earnings: $199.70
Ad Revenue: $ .70
Returned Items: $199.00 (This was from clothes I bought the kids for back to school. It is so high because I do the shopping without them and bring them home for the kid's to try on. It's usually not so high but this summer was so busy that I did the shopping before I had the chance to go through all the clothes they already have to see what fits and what they need. So, I had a lot to return. I count this money in my earnings because otherwise it is too easy to not get the returns done. Or to not get them done in time to get a refund. By counting it as income it is an incentive to be sure to return everything that is not absolutely necessary.)

Wow, were those from items you bought in the past few months?
Also, I see that you make jewelry, do you have a website or anything?
Hi Jackie. Yes, they were all school clothes that I bought in the last two weeks. (I added a bit more to my post to explain.)
Yes, I have a jewelry website. I should have it more prominently displayed on my blog. I'll add it now. You can check it out at www.dazzlingjewelrycreations.com. I plan to try to add a shopping cart to my website this month to encourage on line orders. Up until now I have done mostly local business. :)
Jennifer,
That's great that you follow through with returning them, I always end up forgetting about them! :)
You have some beautiful jewelry! I love the mother of pearl earrings and a bunch of other stuff! Did you look into a paypal shopping cart? That's what I use for the pads and it was super easy.
Jackie, thanks for the great idea! I started fooling around with it and I think I might be able to do it! You just saved me like $250!! That's how much it was going to cost me to add a shopping card with the site that hosts my website! After blogging for the past few months I think I can manage to add the paypal shopping cart myself, and then only pay a small fee per transaction. That is so great because I'm still not sure how much on line business I will get and I don't want to lose any $! Thank you so much! I can't remember the name of your site for the pads - can you give it to me again please? Thanks again - so much! :)
I looked into doing those other shopping carts and for some reason it was so confusing! I was shocked at how easy it was to do with paypal. The transaction fees aren't too high either.
My site is Punky's Pads - http://www.punkyspads.com :)
